At Piktorize, we have worked hard to establish our brand and company as a reliable business that you can count on for quality and value for money. We take pride in the passion we have for photography and care about your photos and memories as much as you do!

We spent quite some time deciding how we could best represent our company in a logo - we wanted something simple and heartfelt, as well as stylish (of course!).
Our company name - Piktorize - didn’t come from the dictionary. We thought it was a word that best represented what we do - we take your pictures, which are essentially your memories, and turn them into gifts and keepsakes that will last a lifetime! So after a bit of word play with picture and memorialize - we had Piktorize!

We chose a heart pendant (attached to the “o” in Piktorize) to represent our photo engraved pendants, as well as the obvious - the heart is a universal symbol for love and often family.

Earlier this year, Kiera Pedley brought our ideas for our logo to life - and so Piktorize was born!

 

I watched the coverage of the 2008 Presidential Election in the USA with great interest yesterday. I can safely say, having lived in the USA for almost seven years, and for pretty much the entire ‘Dubya’ reign - the country needed change. It appears as though change will now come.

I was recently approached by a customer for a customised wedding gift. She wanted to purchase a gift for her recipient, however, as it was to be a wedding gift - she wasn’t able to provide any photos. She chose a photo book and a photo canvas and instead of supplying me with the photos, wanted to provide these gifts as keepsakes for the happy couple and allow them to customise the gifts with snapshots of their special day.

We were able to provide her with two customised gift certificates to present to the happy couple, in lieu of the normal $xx.xx amount to spend. She felt as though selecting the gifts for them was a little more personal than simply offering a gift certificate amount.

Let me start by saying - WOW! We had so many stunning entries in our October Competition - it was a very difficult task choosing a winner!

Entrants were required to send a favourite ‘Celebrations’ photo, and the winner is Kiera from Western Australia. The photo she entered, of her husband and son celebrating Father’s Day is absolutely adorable! Our judge could not resist the expression on her son’s face.
